Index of Transparency and Sincerity in Africa’s Relations with Developed Countries
Assessing, from an African perspective, the transparency and sincerity of the commitments made by developed countries in their relations with African states.
Methodology established
Relations between Africa and developed countries are most often assessed from the capitals that fund them. The ITS-Afrique index reverses the perspective and measures, from the standpoint of African states, the transparency of the commitments made towards them and the sincerity with which they are honoured.
Two methodological versions have been established. The ITS-RD version rests on four pillars scored out of one hundred (100) points. The more comprehensive ITS-Afrique version is built around seven weighted pillars.
